What I offer

Application plan

I guide you to reflect on your values, interests, and aptitudes and help you clarify your academic direction. I also provide input to your college list and help you strategize which schools to apply to early versus regular. 

Brag sheet support

I help you and your parents prepare the brag sheets for your school counselor and the subject teachers who will write you recommendation letters.

Essay brainstorm and review

I help you choose essay topics and brainstorm essay content. I offer detailed feedback on a finished draft of your Common Application essay, your school-specific essays, and your activity resume. I give feedback not only to individual essays but also to the application package as a whole to help you present your best self.

Post-application support

I help you choose the college that best suits you if you receive multiple acceptance letters. I also help you with letters of continued interest in case you were deferred or wait-listed by your top choices.

Packages for 2024

$2,000

Up to 14 hours of counseling used by September 30. Most suitable for students who seek support on activity list and essays only. Both preparation work (e.g. essay review) and meetings are counted as service hours.

$3,000

Up to 22 hours of counseling used by October 31. Most suitable for students who seek support on activity list and essays for the Early Applications. Both preparation work (e.g. essay review) and meetings are counted as service hours.

$4,000

Up to 30 hours of counseling used by October 31. Most suitable for students who seek support on brag sheets, college list, activity list, and essays for the Early Applications. Both preparation work (e.g. essay review) and meetings are counted as service hours.

$5,000

Up to 38 hours of counseling used by January 15 (excluding the holidays from December 21 to January 5). Most suitable for students who seek support on brag sheets, college list, activity list, and essays for the entire application season. Both preparation work (e.g. essay review) and meetings are counted as service hours.

$6,000

Up to 46 hours of counseling used by January 15 (excluding the holidays from December 21 to January 5). Most suitable for students who seek support on brag sheets, college list, activity. list, and essays for the entire application season and who will apply to a significant number of top schools. Both preparation work (e.g. essay review) and meetings are counted as service hours.

Refunds and Additional Hours

Unused hours will be refunded at the end of the application season. Additional hours can be purchased at $125 per hour, subject to my availability. Hourly services are only available to the families who have purchased the packages.
